May 29 - CW2 Fireside Updates - Upcoming events you don't want to miss!

Fireside Update: May 29, 2026

Upcoming happenings you don't want to miss!

Hi Co-Workers & Friends,

Before we jump into this week’s events, I wanted to share a small reminder that’s been sitting with me after a recent trip to Nova Scotia: rest matters.

As entrepreneurs, creatives, and community builders, many of us are wired to keep moving, keep producing, and keep saying yes. Taking a step back can feel uncomfortable, even when we know we need it. But spending a few days near the ocean reminded me that rest is not a reward for burnout. It’s part of what allows us to show up fully for our work, our communities, and ourselves.

As we head into another busy week at CW Co-Work, I hope you find a little space to reconnect with the things that refill your cup, whether that’s community, creativity, movement, conversation, or simply slowing down for a moment.

We’ve got a wonderful lineup of events ahead and would love to see you around the cabin.

A few highlights from my trip to Nova Scotia this week just for fun.

Work With Your Wiring:
Productivity & Executive Function Strategies for Entrepreneurs

Thursday, June 4 | 9:30–11:30 AM
Tickets: $25
Limited spots available.
CW Co-Work, Elora

Productivity is not one-size-fits-all, especially for entrepreneurs and business owners.

Join us for Work With Your Wiring, a collaborative workshop designed to help entrepreneurs and professionals better understand executive functioning, reduce workflow friction, and build systems that support sustainable focus and momentum.

Hosted in partnership with Liisa Kukk of SEED Education Strategies + Solutions, this practical and engaging session explores productivity through a neurodiverse lens.

Together, we will explore:

  • executive functioning and productivity through a neurodiverse lens
  • how stress, overwhelm, and decision fatigue show up in business ownership
  • practical systems that reduce friction and support how you naturally work
  • ways to create more sustainable and brain-friendly workflows

The session will include two guided activities:

  • Building a Brain-Friendly Work System
  • Designing Your Ideal Work Block

Perfect for entrepreneurs, creatives, freelancers, consultants, and anyone balancing a high mental load. I will be there and hope to see you too!

No diagnosis required. This session is about learning to work with your brain, not against it.
